The FDA withdrew a 1996 advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPRM) and three other dated proposals that are no longer consider viable candidates for final action. The four proposals are: (1) Labeling Declaration for FD&C Yellow No. 6 and FD Yellow No. 5; Amendment of Standard of Identity for Cheese Product (60 Federal Register 37611, July 21, 1995); (2) Over-the-Counter Drug Products Containing Phenylpropanolamine; Required Labeling (61 Federal Register 5912, February 14, 1996); (3) Reinvention of Administrative Procedures Regulations (ANPRM, 96N-0153) (61 Federal Register 28116, June 4, 1996); and (4) Marketing Exclusivity and Patent, Provisions for Certain Antibiotic Drugs (65 Federal Register 3623, January 24, 2000). The proposals were withdrawn as of December 12, 2008.
